It's 2025 and the modest girlies are all over Abaya 💅💖💖

Abayas are known in different names, some calls it aba, pardha and some abaya. Abayas are widely used by Muslim women all over the world. It is a loose garment which covers all the body except head. Head is usually covered using veil and some uses a Burqah which covers the entire face except the eyes. Abayas are worn by women while visiting holy places such as mosque. 

The origin of abaya is not known however it is said that 80 years ago it was introduced in Saudi Arabia and later it was largely accepted by other GCC countries. In GCC countries abayas are considered as a religious and cultural garment and has been accepted as the national costume.

It was in the beginning of 2000's the abaya shifted its style from the normal black robe. New cuttings, embellishments and colors were tried. It was well accepted by the women. For many women it was not just a garment but a statement of status and prestige.

Black abayas were the commonly used by every women but recently the girlies are all over different colored abayas. From the basic black abayas now comes in different colors and models. They are luxurious and therefore expensive too. The abayas are now influenced by western styles. Girls from the western part of the world uses abaya to layer over their jean and tops. As fashion continues to embrace diversity and inclusivity, the abaya transcends cultural boundaries, attracting a global audience seeking both style and modesty.
